I use iKlear. No alcohol that will damage the oleophobic coatings. I also use Bluetack to get dirt out of the speaker grills.

I do have this lens wipes for my glasses and I used them too on my dirty iPhone. I thought 💭 that I’m weird but other people do use them too. 😊 I used a brand new toothbrush to clean the lightning port as well. People from genius bar also recommends them for me.

When your device won’t charge, then most of the time it’s because of dust in the lightning port. I always use a plastic toothpick to remove the dust from the lighting port. Alcohol won’t work because the dust sits at the bottom of the lightening port. Sometimes you even need to poke at the bottom of the lighting port to remove the dust.

I got a new iphone 11 recently and noticed that when I take it out of my
pocket, the screen had a powdery whitish substance on it.
At first I thought it was dust but after turning my pocket inside out and
thoroughly running a vacuum cleaner over the pocket material, the phone
still gets the powder on the screen when I take the phone out of my
pocket.
I also placed my old phone in the same pocket and it comes out clean. WTF?
Could it be the oleophobic coating is coming off after rubbing against the pocket lining?
I'm starting to suspect that is the case.
Otherwise, I'm stumped.
Worried about the powder getting into the camera lens area.

Hey man, my iPhone’s top speaker sounds a bit distorted. Compressed air helped it a bit, but it’s still distorted. I’ve tried toothpicks, q-tips, hand sanitizer (alcohol) and a toothbrush 🪥. What should I do, man?

Idevicehelp I was trying to downgrade use ipsw file it’s checked green but it has error message so the message says if I’m getting errors it’s Apple that’s giving errors so I’m asking can I use the 3utools because it’s downloading the ipsw file so is it safe to download it from the 3utools? If so can u make a video on how to do so useing 3utools. Downgrade to 13.3.1 to 13.3

when using that paint brush better to brush it from the bottom side so that when you brush the port area the debris falls to the ground versus falling back into the phone....works a tad better yet. Try it....hold the phone above your head and then brush and you will feel those particulates falling onto your face and that will give you an indication how clean or dirty it is. I you find a small pile of dirt building up on your chin you'll know you've done a good job. Post photos of chin pile!
