The Destruction of the Interceptor was a sea battle fought near shoals in the Caribbean Sea. It was fought between the crew of the Black Pearl, led by Captain Hector Barbossa, and the crew of the Interceptor.

Hector Barbossa's crew retrieved the Aztec Gold Medallion, the Interceptor demolished, and Will Turner becoming Barbossa's prisoner.

When the BLACK PEARL was truly a pirate ship to fear... the way she was coming up onto the Interceptor with that rolling fog behind her, was chilling. ☠️

I do love that by sheer luck, the monkey grinned full force when Geoffrey Rush said, "We named the monkey Jack."

I wonder how well trained the monkey was, that grin it makes when Barbosa explained his name always cracks me up and I wonder if it was directed that way

I laugh so hard when they throw cannonballs overboard and then 15 seconds later are loading the cannons with anything not nailed down

Ironically enough, loading the cannons with forks and spoons making a crude form of grape shot was actually a good idea...if Barbossa's crew wasn't undead.

It was a blast seeing this film in theaters. They should re-release them all in theaters for the generation that missed out.

Didn't realize it before, Will mentioning that he would kill himself and he'd go to Davy Jones locker, because he is the one to take hold of the souls that die at sea. A great touch from the writers.
