If I bought only 10% of this stuff, I would be bankrupt and would have to move out of my house due to lack of space.

The 2 gallon sprayer if only used for water can be filled with warm/hot water for short showers.

You could literally walk thru home Depot blind folded and anything that you grab would be valuable in SHTF.

A South African farmer told me about setting a tall trash can on top of a 4 wheeled square furniture mover, then filling the can with sand. This was a rollable barricade intended for indoor use as a bullet barrier that can be moved room to room as necessary during a gun fight.

Thank you, Nate, for keeping things as apolitical as possible. I heard 2 different "prepper" content makers yesterday starting to talk about how much better it is in Russian than here in North America. I'm just here for either the how-to videos or the sitreps. I don't care about peoples polticial or religious views. I'm glad you keep it out of your content as much as you do.

I turned my entire garage into one giant Faraday cage by covering it with the necessary material. My car and ATV WILL work. My Batteries will. My Radios. Everything. I'm working on a secret oil drill in my backyard. I ain't being thrown into the dark ages. F that. I have Brand New Spare parts for my Car too so when it's time to change them, I can in the event it takes years for society to make it's comeback. Spare Tires, Air Pumps, everything. I want to work on a Drill Press kit to be able to craft ammunition myself and reuse Metal. (I need to learn how to smelt properly) I've taken 2 years of Automechanic School so I can take my car apart on a whim and replace the Transmission and Engine if the need arises.

If anyone has any suggestions, please do suggest.

Working on having the proper Sun filtering material to hang over my Garden so my Vegetables have the best chances for optimal growth (where I live, the sun can get INTENSE in at least a month or two of Summer) and now started working on safe practices when it comes to canning. Like I said. We ain't playing around here.

Imagine Canadian Prepper having to spend a night in Home Depot during SHTF (think Night at the Museum w/ Ben Stiller) LOL

The don't go with 18 volt for a chain saw is wrong. Been using an 18 volt Ryobi chainsaw at the farm for a few years now and it works great. Also there are about 100 other tools that use the batteries. Will it chop down a red wood, no. But for what most people would need it for, it does the job. Also make sure to pick up 5 or 6 extra chains. They do go bad.

Basically buy a Home Depot store if you want to make it through the apocalypse 😂

For every solar light you get, get some better AA rechargeable batteries. I change the rechargeable batteries that all solar lights arrive with, they are usually crap, out new ones in and keep the old ones for emergencies, just make sure before you buy solar lights that the rechargeable batteries are easily accessible. So basically just load a crew up and seize Home Depot when it goes down.

Great info!!
Solar lights, the kind you stick in the ground outside to charge during the day, can be brought inside for lighting when the power goes down. I have several, just need to put higher quality rechargeable batteris in them, cause the ones that they come with, are crap most of the time.
I also have a couple of solar lights that have a long electrical cable that connects to the solar panel. Makes it easy to put the panel high up in a good sunny spot and the light inside. Get the kind that you can switch off the motion sensor or, it will drive you crazy... LOL

Nate, you forget blue paint for your roof or blue tarps as a fire protection against those DEW's...

My home got broken into when they kicked the steel front door in - door was fine but the wood frame splintered like kindling in one kick. Thieves do this because one or two loud sounds in a city doesn't attract attention vs the sound of breaking glass. The security company advised an outward opening wrought iron security storm door with mounting screws only available to locksmiths and an 'Alarm' sign. It's much harder to pull a door open than kick it in.

Marker tape : When you put it up, include a sign stating something like " sick, infected, biohazard". Head games are as effective as walls.

Don't get a sledgehammer that's too heavy for you to swing easily. Better to have a 6lb that you can swing easily than a 20lb which you can't manipulate well.
