We actually did our research and for our on camera presence we went with the M50. Shout and posted a video from a new year review and it came out beautifully. I like the m50 it has less of a learning curb I think. Of course I am still learning the camera.

I just ordered the M50, after researching a lot of cameras, and it is mainly to have both flip out screen and mic on top. In Europe, the kit is at 600Euros! However it includes the case, and free shipping. Thank you for the info.

I own the M6 MKII and the 4K works well. I sold my EOS R for it and have never regretted the switch.

Definitely the M50 for me.
I had the M6 mk1. It was a great camera but Having to use a flash bracket to hold my microphone was annoying.
A flip out screen is more important to me than 4k, 120/1080 and and extra 8mp all put together.
The money I saved by buying the M50 allowed me to buy the Sigma 16/1.4 EF-M.

For the M6 Mk II, if you do the firmware update released on 3/31/2020 it opens up 4k24fps recording. Took less than 5 minutes in total and I've noticed a little better battery life! Love my M6 Mk II!

I absolutely LOVE the image quality of the M50 for video, even with the kit lens. The ONE thing I wish it had is a headphone jack for setting and monitoring sound. My latest video was shot 100% with the M50.
