Just watched your excellent video. I had just potted two 3 gallon figs into new 15 gallon pots. Mixed loamy leaf mulch into potting mix. Now I'm concerned about nematodes! Ughh, lol.

I am using an umbrella to give my fig some shade and also to divert the rain until the pot it is in dries out some.  It is doing much better and the leaves have now stopped drooping.

M Akhtar- Yes, However as the plants are going in to a dormancy it would be best to wait until they wake up in the spring when both shoot and root growth is active.

I near Bristol UK and I have two large figs in the ground and one one smaller tree - all now 3yrs old and this is the first year the larger trees are fruiting . I have no idea what the variety for is for any of them, The smaller I bought but the other two just materialised in pots which I was using for sweet pea flowers ! One of the larger trees has produced a "breber" crop which is on last years wood, these figs are drying up and falling off. Thankfully all three now have pin head sized fruit on this years wood. I have looked at the video on pinching off the growing tips to force fruit growth instead of wood. Thanks for your information.
