This is an aerodynamic Venza with a larger fold-down storage area in back. And a 250 HP engine. Built in the Japanese Crown plant with its A-team.

We’re going full circle back to wagons.

I HATE the trend of making the tires as large as possible where there is virtually no sidewall on the tire. Driving on these tires are rougher and they get torn up faster with potholes. The 19" wheels they put on the Venza are still good looking but much more practical to drive on day-to-day.

There’s no comparison to the RAV4. This is near luxury. The RAV4 is an econobox.

I’m shocked that this doesn’t even come with the power steering wheel or heads up display like the second generation Venza. The heads up display is important to me. I’m gonna keep my 21 limited for now.😊

Car looks sharp! Can't wait to test drive and possibly buy one.

Nice station wagon. Hope they refresh the RAV4 very soon to look like this in and out, especially the saddle color and bronze color options for those of us looking for a two-row SUV, but without any of the piano glossy black trims that would cheapen it and scratch very quickly.

As a gen 1 Venza owner who drives long distance to far off places, i have been waiting for a plug-in hybrid crossover (i.e.raised wagin). Crown Signia is very attractive. But with only (non-plug-in) hybrid and only 5.8" ground clearance, i will keep looking.

Excellent summary, can you speak to the headroom? Also, It baffles me that that flagship Crown still has no HUD and manual tilt and telescoping steering wheel. Come on Toyota, no reason for Camry to have those features and not Crown. (Note in Japan Crown has the features I mentioned, just not in other regions...sigh)

Crown signia is very appealing to me. I currently drive a 2018 Volvo S60 that gets 35 mpg. it’s a great commute car, but i’d like something a little bigger. My husband has a 2024 Maverick hybrid and loves it!

Wow, this is my first time seeing the white version. This really sold me on the crown signia 100% over Nx, Rx, rav4 and highlander

It’s perfect! Everything I want but I was hoping or expecting more ground clearance 😢 I love a wagon shape but prefer more ground clearance

I hope I fit in it. I'm 6'3 and really like the wagon style design.

This is one of VERY dew new cars in which I would be interested. But only in the "base" XLE version, if it keeps the cloth seats on the non-Signia Crown.

Really reminds me more of the original Venza than the actual current Venza does.

I have a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder for hauling 7 people, bigger cargo, or towing to 5K lbs. What I want is to replace my 2009 Venza with a new tech hybrid with 35 mpg for my commute to the university where I teach, letting me save my Pathfinder for more years. Plus the Signia is a "lifted wagon" so it is easy to get in and out for older people like me with bad backs, a much appreciated feature of my 2009 Venza that is NOT in the current Venza. I love the large cargo floor, lets me carry wheelchairs and walkers for my wife, and easier entry/exit for her without switching up to a modified minivan.

Thank you for a very nice review of this new vehicle. I was wondering how you would compare this vehicle to the Highlander. We have been Highlander owners for many years and plan to trade in our 2014 Highlander for something new. We really liked a test drive in the Venda but it was a little small for us. We actually ordered a Grand Highlander but that might be a bit too big but it is nice. How would you compare the Signia to the Highlander? Thanks!

I LOVE the fact it is more of a wagon shape, whilst I do enjoy the higher seating position of SUVs and trucks, the lower height should help it feel more planted and sure whilst driving. Aside from that, it is also safer for pedestrians and children (takes 13 kids sitting in a row before you can see the top of one of their heads in a full size suv)

That fixed sunroof is a dealbreaker for me the same as it was with the Venza. I have yet to dip my toes in the Hybrid pool, but was considering it with the Rav 4 and the Venza. If I'm gonna get a hybrid I think I'll go with a Toyota, but not one with a fixed Sunroof. Kinda defeats the purpose. As always, GREAT review. I'm a big fan!
