2022 I got t-boned head on by a teenaged girl who borrowed her boyfriends car . She hit me so hard she totaled my car and when I got out my car to ask her for her drivers license and insurance, she lied and told me she just bought the car and don’t have insurance yet. I called police to come, he wrote a traffic collision report with both party’s name and car information and insurance. Police told us to exchange information. Come to find out the girl was barely 18 years old and didn’t have a drivers license.. A few weeks later I get a citation in the mail for $397.93 in my name, stating my violation was “driving without a valid driver’s license” - I was confused. I have my drivers license. When I double checked the traffic collision report, the license plate number belonged to the at-fault party’s car. The court cited the wrong person. I went to court office to show them they made a mistake. They told me I have to go to my court date to explain it to a judge when the evidence was all there in paper. Smh. For an entire year, I’ve been trying to buy car insurance and always got denied because of the mistake of the traffic court, holding me accountable for someone elses mistake. Can I sue them?

2 Questions so I pay full coverage on my car and I’m obtaining my CDL already having my CDL B. Well I was showing my girlfriend how to drive (she is unlicensed) and she hit a traffic pole totaling my car. Will I receive a point on license that could hinder me from getting a job with a CDL A and should I expect insurance to cover the car or be prepared to pay it my self? Have you ever ask the judge if it was a court of law or a court of equity? Have you told people that they can only charge you for $20 and no Have you ever even use the Constitution to protect the beneficiary of the certificate.
