None of these worked. I have a situation where I could not remove or add a device. Now the one that wouldn't remove still shows up on the bluetooth settings screen even though it doesn't show in device manager. Can't remove it, can't add back those others removed via device manager.

The first moethod worked like a charm.. Thanks a lot!
All you got to do is, after following the steps in the "Method 1" just open Control Panel > Devices and Printers, and remove the Bluetooth devices to no longer require. Simple as that.

Removing individual items didn't work for me. I had to uninstall the entire Realtek Bluetooth Adapter first, reboot the computer, which reinstalls the adpater, and then I was able to remove individual items through the Device Manager. Removing items through the control panel still doesn't work.

I had an issue in that i bought a long range BT, i disconnected the previous and could not remove the paired device. Simply put the previous dongle and remove the devices. I think its reading internal memory off the dongles and its inaccessable.
