Incubate til there’s no debate! But at the same time, I would definitely separate out the slugs, just so they don’t affect any good eggs.

First, HUGE congrats. Second, if you don't watch snake discovery's YouTube channel, I would check it out. Some of those slugs can potentially affect the other healthy eggs, and you need to carefully pull apart the eggs instead of incubating in a pile, that way you have better chance of successfully hatching the majority of them. I'm no expert and I apologize if you've heard this before (I definitely don't want to assume you know any less than I do, esp considering you're the reason I got my first crestie). 🖤

Genuine question - Is it okay to incubate the infertile eggs with the possibly fertile ones of the same clutch? What if the infertile ones rot and mold? Could that be an issue for the fertile ones?

Definitely wouldve been a good idea to remove the slugs, But its probably unsafe for the remainder to do so now as they're probably together pretty well. Ride it out, see what happens! Separating and candeling is always a good idea though. Just a lil tip for next time. Good work ✌️

I know how you feel! On the 4th of July my 3 year old charcoal corn snake just laid her first clutch of eggs (21!!! No slugs 🤯) and I raised her from 8 weeks old ☺️ I'm so excited cos I bred her to an Amel het Anery male so I'll hopefully get some snows (which aren't the most interesting morph but it'll mark a milestone for both me as a first time breeder and Maze as a first time mum 😁 congratulations on Penelope eggies! 🎉
