Great review. In your opinion, ¿what tv is better between this Philips 7406 (7906) or the TCL C725?. Thanks for your attention ;)

Between the 7625 and the 70PUD7406, which is better? what are the differences?

Reviewers will generally show in their presentations showroom TV screens which rarely bear any connection to an actual (live) TV picture and mislead the customers. Just as in this case.

Lots of info, but no mention of how terrestrial Tv functions or how speedy the OS is. Had a few of these they always seem laggy and the experience of the Tv guide and live tv can be frustrating

According to the manual VRR should work with Nvidia GPUs. And why didnt you research and mention the IPS Panel? 💙

What size are the TV's? Also, what panel do they have VA or IPS? (2 big omissions)

Hi, Is the 70" PUS7906 IPS or VA pannel? Also is it Direct LED or Edge LED backlight? Thank you very much.

I finally got the PHILIPS 50PUS7906 today. I can tell you with full confidence this is not a mid range TV.

Don't get me wrong the model I got has a VA panel and the picture is really really good on it. The blacks are very dark. Not quite OLED black but they're fat fat darker than IPS black which is grey.

Colours are very vibrant but not over saturated.

In fact it has much better picture than the PHILIPS 58PUS8535 I had which cost €250 more than this

Now I say it's not a mid range TV because it's missing picture features settings.

There's no smooth motion setting. There's various HDR settings missing. The settings for audio and picture are very basic.

Without disabling some system apps that are completely in necessary for Google TV, and a few other tweaks the TV can be very laggy. I now have it fat less laggy but it still lags a bit.

If you get the 7906 TV that has a VA panel then I would class it as a higher level low end TV.

I got the TV for €460 with a 6year warranty here on Ireland but it usually costs just over €500

Bit confusing that it has no VRR, some retailers say it does, others don't and if you Google it, one of the first documents you come across is a specs document that says it does. Think I'll be getting the Samsung au9000 to be safe.

AWESOME review. Question: between the 7906 and a TCL QLED C715, what would you buy?
