Philips Android TV: How to Reset Audio/Sound (Audio Problems?)

I show you how to reset the audio / sound settings on a Philips Android TV (smart tv). Maybe you have sound or audio problems like no sound but only picture, audio goes in and out, out of sync, audio sounds funny or muffled or echoing, or you just want to factory reset the audio / sound back to factory defaults for a clean slate, etc. Hope this helps.

have tv similar don't if its same model but audio cuts out when audio is low. It will play audio dialogue then mute then if someone speak audio come back. It happen a lot in the last episode of wandavision.

Sound keeps muting when the OLED804 has been in stand-by for a few hours (overnight). Then, terrestrial channels (TV) have to be selected and changed to another channel (anyone - up or down) to reactive sound. Then, any other connected device via HDMI - cable, satellite box etc - will also have sound reconnected. There doesn't seem to be any way around this problem, as such. Philips tell me "It's not a fault, it's just the way it is!"
Fair enough, but it's a mighty inconvenient 'feature'.

Drives me nuts, these new bullshit smart TVs. Especially the bargain versions. I told my friend not to get one and he bought a garbage Philips smart tv. When watching a streaming movie on Apple TV, the audio cuts in and out during quiet scenes. I’ve tried every “hack” to fix it and nothing works. How do I fix this stupid shit?

I was wondering if you could help with a sound issue with this TV. I setup my Tivo remote to control the On/Off of the Philips TV, but it also controls the volume of the TV in addition to controlling the Volume of my Sonos system. It causes an annoying echo every time I move the controls to just control my Sonos soundbar. How can I delete the option to control the Philips TV from my remote altogether, while still controlling the On/Off

We have a phillips android tv and out of nowhere it started to sound really tinny and we would have to turn the volume up high just to hear it. We did all those steps and it didn't work, is there anything else we can try other than resetting the whole tv?

I have a Philips 43PUS 6503/12. Just the other day, the sound suddenly started disappearing with a loud noise, and then finally gone. From that moment on, the sound appears only now and then for a couple of seconds, with noise of course. At the same time, YouTube and Netflix work without any noise.

Nope still no sound we were watching a movie and then the net froze n the movie paused to buffer it made a smal pop/crack about 3x then now sound when the movie came back. Ive turned it off and back on. Reset this. What next? Its only 2.5 yrs old ugh!

The sound has very little punch. Not much bass at all and I've also noticed that during quite moments in movies and such, the audio just cuts out. It's really weird how that works...

After latest update sound is crackly and terrible, have tried reset but still the same.

Mine wont stop making a buzzing sound. No clue how to fix it as no video has addressed this issue.

It's strange because my audio is fine except when streaming on disney+ or crave. I don't know if the issue is the tv or the apps.

My issue has been that when the video I'm watching is playing ambient sound, like music or just background noise, the TV won't play it at all.
