Great review of a tv that based on your review, I've now decided to buy. Best part for me? Measuring the footprint - which rules out lots of the current stands out there. I now have a full blueprint of the stand I will need to buy to complement this. Thinking of buying this tv at Currys! It’s currently €899 which I think is a good price! I’m currently leaning towards this tv or a Samsung 4K…. Not sure which version yet of the Samsung. Great video!

For years I thought Ambilight was a stupid gimmick until I put a gover kit on an LG TV. Then I grew to love Ambilight.

I then bought a Philips Ambilight TV when my first LG TV screen went all purple.

After my Philips TV died I went on a mission to get a proper Ambilight kit that didn't cost a fortune. I went through four kits until I came across the Lytmi fantasy 2 that I'm using with seven months now.

I'm also using a Homatics Box R 4K instead of web os 🤮🤮🤮🤮.

I want to go back to Philips so that I don't have to use a third party Ambilight kit and Google TV box seperate to the TV. It's just too many boxes and power supplies to do the same job as the Philips done on its own.

what depth does the stand needs to be to fit the TV? I think you did measured width and height but not depth.

Hi mate, Would l be right in thinking, when I get my 70 inch Ambilight tv shortly and put it on the wall as I did before with my 50, that I will get the colour display on my white wall but becsause it is only about 2 inches off the wall that this will not cover a bigger area, because it is too close to the wall. I would guess that because yours is on the foot stand, that you are perhaps 7 inches from the wall.

Hey man. I. Bought this TV for my Series X. In the box it says it supports 120 refresh rate but when i go to my Xbox settings it says it doesn't support that .
