Hands on rx78OOxt+ r7 7700 + 32gb ram now, native 1080p, TSR 100(most important) with FG, cinematic settings, average FPS is 84, games runs really well.

Even though the fps is lower on the 7800XT, the smooth frame time is therapeutic. With FG + FSR the difference between 1% and 0.1% is 3 fps. If only games could run this stable without capping the fps.

The reason why AMD does so poorly in this game, Cyberpunk 2077, and Alan Wake 2, is because these games use Re STIR GI (Path Tracing) which was developed by Nvidia and optimized for its hardware. They are Nvidia-optimized games, and of course they will run better on Nvidia. And although it is a cool technology, the hardware is nowhere near ready for mainstream. Even the 4090 can't use it fully without bringing it to its knees without upscaling and Frame Generation.

It doesn't look better than cyberpunk or alan wake with path tracing but it runs much poorer. Even at cinematic it's as intensive as path tracing. It needs performance optimization
