Once you make this carrot cake you will never try another recipe. The buttermilk glaze sets this cake apart and is next level goodness. By far the best carrot cake on the planet (believe me I have tried many, many recipies before this one). THIS IS THE ONE!!!

I have been making carrot cake this way for well over 20 years and hands-down anytime I bring it anywhere and I always get rave reviews! Without the glaze it is just not the same... It will be good but not the best!

I did everything correctly from this recipe, for some reason the buttermilk glaze ruined the cake, it tasted only like baking soda and I didn’t put more than I was supposed to 😭 The actual cake was very good though

We dont have buttermilk in Turkey, should I use something else instead of buttermilk or can I just remove it from the recipe ?
