This is a review of the first ever 2010 Honda Accord Crosstour crossover. Hard to believe this actually counts as a truck, but one things for sure - it's an amazing vehicle.

DUDE, being a cross over isn't about the looks. Its about the structure of the car.

I thought the photos made the car look bad, but it actually looks really good! I really like it!

I saw this in person, I think it looks great!

In comparison to other cars in its class, this is a very nice car. Good handling, fuel economy, space, design. All these 12 year old's commenting "ew ugly ew" have clearly never even driven this car (or any other car I would bet). It's not the most stylish exterior, but looks alone aren't what make a great car.

That backseat release-from-the-trunk feature is totally rad.

Great vehicle! 0-60 in 7 seconds, over 270 hp, around 27 mpg highway, and all this in a vehicle that weighs in at 2 tons and has a fair amount of cargo room and ground clearance. At first I didn't think I liked the looks, but now I totally like the looks. They will sell a lot of these.

I like them just fine, and have ridden in one, very spacious and I'm a somewhat larger guy (6'2" 240lbs) and I had extra head space leg room, shoulder room, the arm rests are in a good comfortable location, easy to see and reach everything. The thing with the CrossTour Accord is that it is not quite a crossover, but rather a wagon with a sloped backend. If they made it a little larger, like taller and more truck-like, then it would actually be a crossover, but as is it's a bloated fast-back sedan. My thought is this, everyone is too embarrassed to ride in a station wagon, so instead they get truck-wagons (SUV's) like suburbans, or they get these weird CrossOvers that aren't quite as useful as a station wagon or SUV, yet they are more imposing than regular sized cars, so CrossOvers are good for driving like a jackass and feeling like you can bully other people in regular sized cars, but not enough to bully something bigger like the suburbans. Be real, most SUV and CrossOver drivers drive like self entitled jackasses, for example, is it just me or have you noticed that many Acura MDX and BMW X5 drivers driving like jerks (although that could partly be attributed to typical San Jose asshole drivers, extra bad when they make a certain salary range like IT Managers and other overpaid computer nerds, and think they are entitled to treat the road as if they own it and the people around them). Anyways, back to the Accord CrossTour, they might as well make an actual full fledged Accord Wagon like they used to, it would be more useful and probably look better. But then, oh no! people would have to admit they drive "a wagon", oh the horrors! What's so bad about wagons? They are more spacious and functional than these dumb looking sloped back wannabe things, like the Chevy Malibu Max, now that thing looks way more hideous than damn near anything else on the road, aside from the HHR and PT Cruiser (sorry but those are seriously butt ugly stupid looking garbage things trying to be retro to appeal to the wanna be hot rodder types, like the ones that talk about hot rods and go to GoodGuys meets, but that have never actually owned a real hot rod, muscle car or anything they put real work into building or maintaining. Yeah, sorry, but true, but hey, whatever floats your boat right?

if they got rid of the divider/spoiler thing on the back and left it all as one big window, it would look awesome.

Doesn't look like a truck/car "crossover" to me. It looks like a standard car but lifted a few inches
.

Sometimes you wonder how an established car company can get a design so wrong- not the back, but particularly that horribly massive grille.

the designers screwed up with the back door. The lights should extend into it and that black window panel looks hideous. I'd wait for the next (improved) models. nice concept though.

He says the car is aimed at men in their 50's. Empty nesters. LOL. PLEASE! The last thing I would want to drive is what we in Europe call a hatchback when I am 50
This is better pitched to a family. Look at the load space in the boot (trunk). Pushchairs, bikes and kids crap all fit in there!
This truly is an awful looking Honda!
