Last week I caught a bit of the quarantine gloom and ended up writing this song. Wasn't really planning on sharing it yet, but hey, I'm all for keeping track of progress so here's the first draft. Also, thank you all so much for the love on my previous video. It's always a little nerve-wracking sharing originals but I appreciate all the support.

i have,
the hardest time staying calm. I've been alone for a large portion of my life when it comes to friends and lovers, so when things like that do come along, I don't want to lose them. But some things are inevitable. And when they do happen I don't really know what to do with myself. Most of the bad situations i get put in are because of irrational impulsive decisions I made while over thinking and being anxious about something. I'm not okay, and honestly I haven't been for a few months now. I've gotten over the heart break but everything I lost in the process, hasn't come back to me since then. Today I spent the day contemplating whether I belong here. Whether its worth it for me to stay here or not. Whether the way I've been feeling makes me crazy, or if I'm just being dramatic. I've wanted to cry for a while now but, for some reason the tears just wouldn't come out. Then when I booted up my computer and opened YouTube ready to drown the night away in sad slow music, I came across this video. The title pulled me in. I've seen you sing before from covers but I hadn't seen any of your original songs before. The moment the beautiful sound of that electric guitar came on, as I opened the description, my hands stopped and my head froze. My ears wiggled and I stared at the lyrics and the screen. For the first time, in who knows how long, tears welled up in my eyes. I could feel every single word, every single note, and the emotion in the lyrics. All I could do was sit here and stare, as you sang your heart out. even as I write this comment, I've had to hit the replay button a few separate times.

I know thats a lot to read but, what I mean to say is-
thank you. thank you for sharing that with the world.
I've felt, so goddamn alone recently, and it was just really fucking nice to know that I'm not the only one who feels like this.
Please don't ever stop pursuing your goals. And please dont ever be unsure about sharing your art. You're a light in this world and its been awhile since a song has just, touched me like that.
