Chrome OS updates come with great regularity, but sometimes those updates come along with a few lingering bugs. At times these are minor inconveniences, but other times the issues are stifling and require users to move back to an older version of the OS. If you find yourself needing to go back so your Chromebook will work properly, here's a quick guide.

I'm glad that my HP Chromebook 14 doesn't update automatically; I was kind of annoyed having to go Check For Updates manually every-so-often but since I was totally unaware of an issue with an update I now know not to do that until there's a fix for whatever is wrong.

The revert window isn't showing. I read that the device needs to be deprovisioned in order for this option to be available!? is this true?

My pixelbook go would power wash but would not restore to previous version. My screen zooms in and vibrates/flickers.

Unfortunately, this didn't help my issue. My Chromebook says no camera detected. I see the icon for the camera and click it. All that comes up is a camera outline image. For some reason, my chromebook no longer detects a camera. It used to work now, it doesn't. Any suggestions?

I feel like a lot of other channels are quite biased towards Chrome OS as a mac or PC user. Thing is, chrome OS does everything I need my laptop for, I could even run linux apps if I wanted

I DID THE REVERT but the update but button is still not showing where it says chrome os, in setting.
