- Understanding blood tests can give valuable information on how your daily activities, including nutrition and exercise, impact your overall health.

- The video emphasizes on oxygen delivery in the body, pointing out that the central nervous system demands the most oxygen and any interference with this delivery can result in problematic symptoms.

- The speaker presents four crucial parameters to understand the oxygen delivery system from blood tests: Red Blood Cell count, Hemoglobin, Hematocrite, and Mean Corpuscular Volume (MCV).

- An optimal range is suggested for each of these parameters, which can indicate a proper oxygen delivery system in the body and a healthy central nervous system.

- The video also notes that low MCV can usually be caused by an iron deficiency and high MCV could potentially be related to vitamin B12 deficiency, both impacting oxygen delivery and the overall health, hence suggesting the need for monitoring these nutrients in the diet.

Beautifully explained the concept of oxygen delivery and what to infer from a CBC report. May you, Dr. Steven, live to be a 100 and continue doing this wonderful act of sensitising people about their health without educating them to being doctors.
TYSM. Keep up the good work.

What a fantastic video this was, bookmarked it for later reference! 😊Looking forward to the next part too! Especially if there's anything on white blood cells! On low carb/carnivore some of those values have come down for me, like leukocytes, and have stayed that way for a couple of years now. I'm not worried at all, but I'm curious to know if that has to do with decreased inflammation or what. I know something has changed, because I used to have pollen allergy for years, but not for the last two years on low carb!
