One of these frames actually does show a carving of a future city with canals that were intended to be built. If you pour water at the top of this little cityscape, it runs through the canals that would have been built.

Ive been a stone mason for thirty five years, i know how to tool stone but i don't have their tools. I think they find the resonant frequency of the stone, it makes the stone semi liquid or creates a state where the stones hardness isn't a factor. Think frozen butter in the microwave. For what it's worth.
