As a CNC machinist and fabricator I think i may know how these stones were cut my best guess? No tooling Mark's, not metal, No burning or melting? not a laser..looks lile a perfect example of a water jet..which seems most probable..they would have only needed high pressured water. these always made me curious until I saw those holes..the only explanation would be a water jet to cut those so precise without damaging surrounding areas

Humans stopped making stone megalithic structures long ago. It's possible that there are techniques which were developed, innovated and perfected over thousands of years and then simply forgotten as new construction methods and materials came in.

This is probably one of my favorite episodes of all time ! It absolutely boggles my mind how this was done. If there was any proof that there was a higher intelligence out there. Really just no other explanation. On the other hand we could be missing something and time has taken that away from us. I still remember when they took a stone fragment from this site and cut into it. They used a laser and a diamond saw just for them to say those cuts were different from the ones at Puma Punku because OF COURSE THEY WERE! WHY WOULD ANCIENT BOLIVIANS HAVE POWER TOOLS!?

I believe the blocks were formed from molting rock, and formed molding. There's no other ways I can come up with. I have worked in a lot of fields with rock work and brick work, and what I am thinking is a floating craft that harvest the stone filling itss up and then the craft formed what it needed, like an automated wall builder.
