I really liked the original, but I'm willing to watch this new adaptation of it, and as I am aware, I think its going in a new direction other than choosing to be a remake, and so I'm looking forward to the episodes to come. I know some will not agree with me, but I think they handled the first battle better than what they did in the original, from what I remember anyway Yang used a bomb out of nowhere to destroy half the imperial's fleet, but in this its more believable I think. Though the show is more science-fantasy than anything, so the fleets still feel like tissue paper like in the original.

The music and character design is very contemporary, so the people who have seen the original might throw a tantrum.

I hope some of you are willing to watch a few episodes of it, because it does bring some enjoyment to the table.

I also think some of you should try Golden Kamuy. (Just a suggestion)

To the people who watched the original series, I know this is a strange question but how old are Reinhardt and Yang at the start of the series? I would look it up but the minute I searched Yang I got a massive spoiler and decided not to continue searching
