Thank you! I was having issues doing the setup of CloudFlare and Nextcloud and the ONLY thing any other tutorial don't mention is to check the No TLS Verify option inside Advanced application settings.. you are a life saver! Now my tunnel works!

omg THANK YOU! Finally I knew there HAD to be a way to use cloudflare tunnels for NextCloud without having to forward ports on router.. I just couldn't get it to work with the tunnel, I think you hit the nail on the trusted sites setting in the config to allow it to connect.. I am going to try this out soon..

I had this working great for a few days and you helped me out with the No TLS Verify option.
However, today I randomly started getting a 502 error (Host error) through cloudflare when trying to access the site through my subdomain. cloudflare still shows the tunnel as "Healthy" in the zero trust dashboard, and I can still access nextcloud on the local network fine. Not sure what happened. I was literally actively using the site when it stopped working.
