WOW.... I would have never thought of the doing push-ups. It makes so much sense and it's almost the same feeling of being nervous when performing for people. That is Gold! Thank you!

I'm sorry but I don't believe you ever get the shakes! You are too good guys. Y'all are one of the few magicians I enjoy watching as well as learning from, and this can totally help in any aspect of life. I loved every bit of it!

I have really bad social anxiety and shake quite a bit when performing for people, but I have been getting out of my comfort zone lately and I have seen a great change in my performances. I use to be the kid sitting in the corner not saying a single word, with magic I am finally able to connect with people on a different level. If you do start to shake just embrace it, I found that it makes you a more vunerable person. Vunerability is important because you can connect more on a personal level with the spectator, thus making your magic even more real and believable. Thanks Chandler for these amazing tips, hopefully i'll be able to rise to the top someday, and actually be the person I have always dreamed to be.

They say that if you want to overcome the fear of public speaking, imagine your audience naked. I don't know who came up with that. It would make me more anxious.
Great ideas. One key to a less nervous performance is to practice until you can do it in your sleep. But you have to practice the correct methods or you will perform a flawed trick, perfectly.

Love the new intro! The best way I learned to deal with stage fright was to jump in head first, a big dive to the stage and go with the flow

Yo i love these videos. These tip videos always seem to come at the perfect times. Even though i dont struggle too much with performance anxiety, the quote about life beginning at the end of your comfort zone was very motivational and came at a time when i really needed it. Keep doing what youre doing! Its really making a difference in my life and in the lives of other

When he started to tell the highschool volleyball story, i really get motivated, and now somehow i just wanna go outside and performed magic to stranger. I think a two card monte as a opener, a pop out card sandwhich, and ambitious card trick is ok, Thanks Chandler! (i hope i spell your name right)

Great tips guys. I like to add one more. Something I used during my days when I still played a band. Just realize 90% if not more of the people watching you can't do what you are going to do or are doing. I always told my self that at the start of a gig than.... Just have fun!

From my experience, I just went out and preformed two card monte to complete strangers, and it took me a couple months, but the shakes practicly left. You just have to gain confidence with your cards, and I hate to be a cliche, but the best way to avoid messing up, is to not mess up.

Now if only I could rid myself of my crippling depression stemming from everyone calling me out for the bite quarter not being a real quarter..
