My mom said “it must be depressing working surrounded by sick people” since I am a nurse. I have never thought of it like that, but I work in Acute care and not critical care so most of them get discharged. It is great to see a lot them get significantly better than they were when they were admitted and go home.

Doctors are super human, They have to commit to study for almost 10 years + pay off a huge student loans.+ they work 70-80 hours a week..hmm I rather continue with my Computer Science degree.

Being an Indian this makes me happy. A lot of kids here are forced to become a doctor or an engineer so it makes me happy and kinda shocked when I see people who genuinely want to become doctors. (Not that Indians don't want to become doctors lol a lot of people here want to but a lot more have to because of family pressures)

😁😂 I can relate to this... My kids kinda did this.. Don't wanna do medicine.. No way.. All three said this.. Few years later, one graduated, second in fourth year and third one is preparing for interviews, etc.. 🎉

I did medical school and I graduated, and at the first opportunity I started my own business and I never had to work as a doctor thank god

Seee I didn’t plan to live past 21. Now I’m 21 with absolutely no SOLID plans for my feature yet. Nursing is something I’ve wanted to do since I was a kid. I use to sow my sisters stuffed animals together after the dogs tore them up and I would always help bandage my friends when they got hurt ect.



Well I still don’t see a feature. We’ll see if I do make it to my 22nd

Literally. By the time I become an offical doctor, i’ll be 30 and it seems like my entire life has been wasted studying. I want to become a cardiologist or a psychiatrist but the years of schooling throw me off 😢

graduated 9 years ago, but almost every night, when i fell asleep, i would go back to our med college because there was a paper i still didnt clear and i would be very very worried, facing all our scary professors again
