People will praise the characters in Star Wars like Yoda and Obi Wan for being so wise, Luke for being so inspiring, Palpatine for being so menacing yet when it comes to the man who wrote the characters, they call him an idiot and he doesn’t know what he’s doing. Ironic.

I love how humble he is. He admits that it hurts. Unlike the majority of people. Acting "strong".

I was a young kid when "The Phantom Menace" came out. It was my first Star Wars movie. Changed my life. Growing up with the prequels I couldn't care less if they weren't perfect. They were magical and epic in a way no other movie universe was at the time. I still remember being anxious for when the next episode of "The Clone Wars" (Genndy Tartakovsky's version) everytime I came home from school. And "Revenge of the Sith" was simply perfect at the time. Not to mention episode 3's playstation 2 game which was simply superb!

I hope George knows how much the true fans admire his work. Many people treated him unfairly for his prequel films, and unfortunately it led to everyone losing the opportunity to witness his sequel story play out on the big screen. I hope to see him return to the franchise someday, but I don’t expect it to happen anytime soon. It’s really sad, what an opportunity missed, but his six film saga is quite a legacy to leave behind into retirement.

I hope George knows that all of us Gen Z fans who group up with the prequel absolutely love the films. I was born in 1998 and the prequels were always some of my favorite movies to watch growing up and have some of my favorite lore behind them.

Edit: ok, ok, I don't know how this meme I make (that don't even my meme) turn in to a debating. So to have a clear view, I don't hate the sequel (that have good visual and some other good thing). I also enjoy what Dave Filoni make.

Lucas is the heart of Star Wars. Its his creation and anyone else writing it will always be cheap fan fiction. Its such a tragedy that Lucas got so discouraged that he sold his most prized creation.
