Never had an online recipe compel me into action this quickly before. After eating up my leftovers in the house, I finally gave this a whirl expecting to have more leftovers since I cook for myself. It was so good the rest of the house came sniffing for a bowl. Then a refill. Then a second refill. 😂

I bought all the ingredients needed but frankly didn't measure anything and just followed my "looks right" guide, and genuinely I think this is restaurant quality at foolproof difficulty level. This might be worked into my family's dinner rotation now!

OMG!! I’ve made several things from Master Ian’s site and they’re spot on. I’m a serious cook and I cook new things probably 3x a week. You can count on this guys recipes BUT THIS SOUP was otherworldly. I had to take a minute, I got a tear and I will tell you that the last bite is as good as the first. It has zero right to be this good. The reason he’s telling to coat that chicken in spice is because that’s really the only flavor base, that and a couple of shallots and 5 garlic cloves. The recipe tastes more elaborate and hard earned than it is. Make it for sure and then think very kind thoughts to the guy that brought it to you!

I saw this recipe last night and had to make it. So I made it today after work, I didn't measure anything, I just winged it based on the video. Paired it with rosemary parmesan bread from Costco. This soup is actually so God dammed good. Great job.
