He was right about the 6 puck, my act 6 puck lasted 12, 000 miles, never seen abused, always daily. I switch to full face xclutch for longevity but will miss the stiff pedal effort

Thank you for making this video! Exactly the breakdown I was looking for! And exACTLy why I wanted to look this up, because I wanted to make sure I wasn't getting ahead of myself, and understood the difference between pucked and not! I would have ordered a pucked clutch for my stock WRX, had it not been for this video (thinking that would be the best, as I plan to lightly modify soon). Man was I wrong! Thanks again!

Awesome video. But I was under the impression that when u choose a clutch u should be thinking about torque rather than horsepower??

Cool video dude thanks a lot for the help. I have my 2014 Audi A4 stage two in my clutch after 30, 000 miles is starting to slip big time.

That was very informative. I normally use Stage two in my cars Z32 TT etc, but for my starlet turbo I was just about to order a tage 3 for the first time and nearly made the exact mistake you were explaining, thinking it might be better than the stage 2 but I won't do it now. To be honest I never felt a difference from stage 1 to 2, thats why I wanted something a bit more sticky but I guess this isnt the right way to go. My new stock clutch cant take the power of the engine after some upgrades.

Your explanation is very good. I thought choosing clutch only looks at the toque.

My car got 200hp with around 360nm, which one is mostly suitable?

What about dual friction (Stage 3)
I have one that is 12 metallic 'pucks' (segments) on one side and full faced metal/organic hybrid on the other side.
It drives smooth enough, I haven't abused it yet and I'm hoping it will last a long time.

I have a 97 Honda prelude converted into an oval track car… would I want the 6 puck stage 3 or the stage 2? It will never see the streets again and gets a lot of abuse

If i may ask...
Im currently building a modest 1jz supra with the w58 (300hp if lucky)...
I went with a dual friction clutch to replace the stock one which was worn.
Its street and spirited driving with minimal track time (4x a year).

Sintered iron 6puck/metal-organic type.
Did i make a decent decision? Seems i have, but i rarely see those covered and not sure if the idea of them alone is a gimmick or the concept doesnt work as well as it may seem.

Did you notice any shuttering at first when you were in first gear or reverse

Is NOT about HORSEPOWER but definitely is about the TORQUE!
You supposed to be an PROFESSIONAL ADVICER.. seems you're not too much of it.
