Luckily, I have been able to purchase a new x100v for a normal price some months ago.
The biggest issue with this camera is, that it cannot take photos of itself 😄
But to be honest, the camera does not only have strong points. I am not talking about missing IBIS or incomplete weather sealing. What I miss is the "Eterna Bleach Bypass" film simulation, as many newer recipes are based on this film. Although it can store 7 custom recipes, you actually only can use 6 slots if you would like to continue using the fujifilm film simulations. One slot must contain neutral settings and you need to select this blank slot in order to use the film simulations. Otherwise, your custom profiles will override/influence the camera built-in film simulations.

The problem with x100 series is that not only photos looks good from the camera but camera looks good on photos too... Influencers love to show it.

Great camera but due an update - my wish list - SW the current lens motor is unrefined and loud, IBIS which is becoming a must, perhaps the new 40 M sensor and improved processor. If this happens the current too high price for the V will / may begin to fall …?

My thoughts exactly. The AF motor needs to be redesigned for real though. Then it could even be a great video camera which I'd really like, especially with electronic stabilization. I so wish that they would make a 40mp, 18mm next version of it.
I wouldn't even care if it didn't have an IBIS at these short focal lengths.
I currently own a Nikon Z6 II but I really want a small camera with latest Fuji tech inside.

i've ordered an XE4 on amazon a few days ago knowing there's no stock but hoping to get one in one or two months ... honestly more than that would be very suspicious to me. I mean there's always enough parts to build tons of smartphone all year long but Fuji can't produce a high demand of two bodies ? i'm very surprised that they can't invest to produce more somehow to get more money. If i was part of fuji's investor i would be concern about decision making in the company. " What i am just frustated no beeing able to get my xe4 ?! yes maybe "

It seems like in the U.S. at least the X100V craze has driven up the price of all Fujifilm cameras on the used market. Especially the X100 series. Someone near me is trying to sell the original X100 for $750!

If Fuji released a FF iteration of the x100v with a 35 f2 oof it would be the end of the world . Even if it didn’t have ibis . I think the only thing they can do to make it better is make a better lens for it as I feel like it’s outdated and really slows down a camera that should have the power of an xt4 but it doesn’t because of that lens . Also put the new battery in it as the ones that are being used now heat up for whatever reason . I love my v tho . I’ve bought this camera 3 times 😂

Hmm I don’t know. Here in Australia I can buy one from several online photographic retailers. In the December Black Friday sales it was even on special. Stupid thing is you see them on eBay for way more when you can just buy them from a retailer with full warranty. That may change soon if stocks run out soon.

Edit: I just checked 3 major camera stores here in Australia and they all have both the black and silver in stock selling standard retail price AU$1, 999 including GST sales tax. That is approx US$1, 375. About the same as B&H price where they are in back order. I guess it depends which country has stock.

Fuji should double their efforts and sell as much as they can. The other manufacturers are going to do their best to make a rival, and victory is fleeting. In a few years, this camera's demand will decrease.

I wanted to buy this series since x100F because its design and its film simulation but I still don’t buy it lol.

They could sell so many X100V's to all of these people who are trying to get one. Fuji knows this and it must be something to do with parts shortages (that may be why the XS10 and XE4 are not available) or, as you say. they are ready to realease then next surely not with the XT4 screen!!!! ARGHHH!!!! not on the beautiful X100 body!!!!

This makes no sense. Some models are available and some are not. Why wouldn’t they make more instead of stop making them.
The issue could be the bug that deforms the bokeh with high shutter speeds.

Totally ridiculous. Fuji should step up their game!
