I did an internship in a photography store, and I learned that Fujifilm also just doesn't ship ws many cameras as they could, so the prices stay the same. You can sell an used Fuji camera for nearly the money you spent on it in the first place.

XT30 owner here .. the camera is compact and the color in-camera is stunning. I won't ever give this one up.

Well, that may be true, but something has to be said about the marketing/advertising power of hundreds of YouTubers pumping these cameras in hundreds if not thousands of shorts, and long videos designed to say the same thing… look at how cool these simulations look. Other than that most people shoot using the automatic setting and would not shoot manual, if their life depended on it

I was sony shooter fir 15 years, with the old sony alpha system. I sold all and tried my friend fujifilm not a long time ago. Now I got two fuji xt cameras and I love photography more than ever.

As an XT30 first version owner, until today 2024 it is still my best photography tools especially for traveling or even family occasions all time!! And sometimes i took videography as well.

I love the super strong kit-lens 18-55mm with IOS, the classic favorite 35mmf14 and now I am planning to get the new release super sharp lens (red badge) XF16-55mm F2.8 (ll version).

It‘s actually not about not being able to keep up with demand. They actually confirmed that they keep production low in order to ensure price stability of their products. Technically they definitely could produce enough cameras for everybody.

I've been a Fujifilm fan ever since i got my X-T10 in 2015. I now have an X-T50 and X100V and i love them all. I dont even consider changing brands.

I use the X raw conversion software for a lot of photos to puch the exposure and work the colour a little before bringing it into another program to do final edits. I have issues with the colours being off and the colours clipping (specifically red a bit more for some reason) in rawtherapee. I want perpetual license and capture one or dxo photo lab is a bit expensive for me. Also My x-e3 used to be a well priced entry level camera to the fuji system, now it's used price is insanely inflated. Mine is well used, has a few dead pixels that are a bit annoying so I don't think I'd get that, but I'm not selling cause I love it ao much. I could buy a nikon z5 and a lens for the cost of the body in some cases.

After shooting Fuji X for the last 10 years and searching for something small - I didn't want to shell out $2K for the X100v. I bought a 8 year old X-A1 instead. With the 27mm lens - amazing everyday and travel shooter - less than $300 for a mint body.

I feel like I'm one of the rare fuji users who still loves editing raws. I personally didn't care about the film sims, I just really liked the manual dial system they had going on with the T series and no other brand was really doing that.
