What camera type is the best? Full-Frame, APS-C, Medium format?
ft: Fujifulm GFX100ii

This video is not sponsored. Fujifilm Canada provided me with this camera to test at my request. No money changed hands, they did not ask me to make any videos, and no third part had input in the making of this video.

There isn’t really the best camera, it is what is the best camera for what you want to do and your situations.👍📷

The one that’s in your hand. The one that you use because it feels right to you as you use it

I started digital with Sony A6000 which I have to say with my limited knowledge was and is brilliant. The more I watched my peers along with getting better myself didn’t want to go along the 6100-6400-6700 etc. so because I could afford it I thought ok I’m buying a7iv learned a bit more and migrated to A7r5 which has more features than my experience. But I’m of the opinion that I buy the best then learn it. lol wrong way round I know but I want The hasselblad now but alas can’t afford it. If I could I would and then learn it. lol. From the heart guys it’s ok rip me to bits lol

i am a m4/3 professional photographer and so far none of my clients complained about the photos. So the sensor doesn’t make you a better photographer. BlackMagic cinema camera are m4/3 and they shoot modern movies so again sensor has nothing to do with quality photos

Im more interested in that lens on your other camera, what is it?and how much

The GFX is a crop medium format. Why stop there; Hasselblad H6D-100c has a 54x40 sensor.

So you didn't actually make a comparison with the crop and full frame

why not use mft
because of the smaller sensor, you have to think much more about how you frame the initial photo, furthermore improving your composing skills

My layman brain can't compute how the "Medium" format is bigger than Large "Full Frame" 🙃

Why stop at medium format, go for a large format

Troughout the years I learned that "the most important" thing about cameras is the "strength and quality of its RAW file". The bigger, the better RAW quality the better image.

Then comes the way someone takes photos. If your poses for portraits are crap, the final product is crap

Then comes the lens AND then the size of camera sensor.

APSC does not mean more grain
Lightroom has a great denoise ai tool. It denoises APSC high iso photos soooo goood...

And yet Fuji-film GFX medium format sensor is still smaller than Hasselblad 😂

That is not how light works.... f2 at ISO100 1/200s is exactly the same exposure and amount of light on a 8x10, M43, Phone Senosr, Fullframe or GFX Sensor... light is not a bucket of water that you pour onto something and the larger the area the more water it can hold...

Well, I wouldn't buy a Canon crop. Tried one for a while. But you end up putting EF lenses on it because Canon deliberately hobble the EFS lenses. They want you to buy full frame. So no, Canon do not take their crop bodies and lenses seriously. They just take your money.
