Ichiran has a Factory in Fukuoka that you should see. They serve a Special Noodle only available at the Factory.
The Ichiran you ate at is their Corporate office also...
We lived in Fukuoka 2 years ago.

I also thought that mentaiko and Kalles Kaviar are similar. When I went to Sweden, I liked it so much that I brought 3 tubes back to Japan. Now, I occasionally order it on eBay :)

Ahh I miss Fukuoka, thank you for your wonderful content. The red bean at Dazaifu is truly iconic, so nostalgic.

I would recommend you to try cold ramen. It’s summer so you should be able to find one anywhere.
