Thank you for sharing your journey with its highs and lows. Its vulnerable and scary moving abroad, even if it's your dream or you've been before. The first two months, the homesickness and culture shock is so real. The beginning is depressing regardless lol and then things tend to get better around month 3. Being around as many people as you can in the beginning especially is so helpful - you will filter them out as you go. Elena, enjoy Paris and be adventurous! I lived in Paris over 20 years ago as a Model and worked in the Cabine at the House of Dior. I bonded with models from all over the world. They were welcoming and became my Parisian sisters that I still stay in contact with. In fact, I visited a friend who is married and now lives in Rouen. I hope you visit outside of Paris to Normandy, Giverny and the South of France...Ville Franche or Beaulieu Sur Mer, which is near Nice. Bon Chance!
