What is a really good idea but I feel like maybe you could first make normal tanghulu and then after the cool down, you can maybe get some melted chocolate and dip it in there and if you want me put some glitter or sprinkles, I feel like that would be a cool idea but you don’t have to do it❤❤❤

Best way to check if the sugar is ready, is to just put a little drop of the sugar in to the water and when it turns hard it's ready
