I use to hate working until I found my purpose. Even then, I wish I had approached work with the mindset of being there to help others rather than dreading the mind numbing hours of being there. Growing up means looking inward and accepting that sometimes you have to be uncomfortable to grow. Working is an essential part of life, and I have found that deciding to make my purpose in life to help others has changed my outlook on working. Watching Calebs videos has been very enlightening this year. I hope she can find her purpose in life.

I will say when it comes to just "a job", she's kind of right. I always heard growing up, "you have to want to work." What kind of masochist wants to work? It's one thing if it's something you can be passionate about. But if it's flipping burgers, who gives a shit.

I don’t want to work either but I am lucky enough to have finally found a job I don’t absolutely hate. And even when I did hate the job, I still went in to work everyday and did my damn job. I get that it’s frustrating that we have to work to live but that’s reality. She needs to grow up and work to support herself.

Whether or not work sucks depends on you and your attitude.
I worked as a line cook in some really terrible places, sometimes 80 hours a week.
If you just tell yourself this is what you're doing and you're going to make the best of it, and try to connect with the people there that are in the same boat as you, its not so bad. I always motivated myself by pretending i was going to war every day.

You can be happy doing more or less anything with the right mind set. With the wrong one, even in the happiest situation you can find issues. Its really just her head that needs to change.

Working sucks, that's why I'm focused on having money in the future. I've seen some old people work till they're dead, that just don't sound like happiness to me.

Same. But i hated sitting in school doing mind numbing tasks bored out of my mind more, so i found a job that would be the opposite, where i could be myself and wouldnt be treated like a child. Chose the trades because when problems come up, you come up with a solution and no one cares about how many steps you took or that you show your steps and show your thinking, no, just an efficient solution to the problem and you're golden. Plus. Youre actually fixing real problems and what you do has meaning and purpose. I hate jobs where i ask myself, why tf am i doing this? Whats the point. Whats the goal, the objective of it all, because im sure I could find a better path to the desired outcome here but wtf do i know

I enjoy working I hate waking up early for work. I'm a total night owl. I get very active nighttime. The best time to go to sleep is 3-4am for me, but I can't when I work from 7am

Yeah I never had a dream job. I always just wanted to be a mother because I know how hard that already is. It’s amazing how so many mothers gamble work and home life. I would rather raise my kids than have someone else do it even if it sacrifices my income. Sad world we live in right now
