Honestly our government has no idea how people are suffering these days. I much feel sorry for the disabled people who don’t get the help they deserve

As a Canadian, the idea of paying 32 pounds for fish and chips and a cofee! That's bloody insane!

It’s the reason why I left Canada and moved to a beautiful Island in the Philippines . It’s amazing and beautiful . Nothing but sunshine and fresh organic veggies and fruit every day . An amazingly simple life with very little technology .

Recently visited China from the UK and I was extremely impressed. Everything is new, clean, functional, orderly, and safe. Depressing returning to the UK.

The NYC subway is even
worse. At least the London subway appears to be a little safer. China is living in the future. It's sad for us.

The saddest thing is a lot of American and UK citizens are unaware of this shift and still living in their old days

Doesn't matter if it's the "richest" country in the world if all of the wealth is in the hands of 1000 people.

My mother and I had been living in the UK for nearly 20 years. In March last year, she started experiencing persistent stomach discomfort. At the time, I was in China, and she was alone in the UK. She made an appointment with a GP, but the waiting time for examinations was too long. In April, when the pain became unbearable, she went to the hospital’s emergency department. However, the emergency doctor only gave her pain relief injections and told her to go home the same day, diagnosing it as gastritis. This was clearly an extremely irresponsible action!

I returned to the UK in April and took her back to China. It took only two days in the hospital there to diagnose pancreatic cancer, and within a week, a biopsy confirmed it was late-stage pancreatic cancer caused by a genetic mutation. Had I left her in the UK, she would have continued waiting for further examinations while enduring ongoing pain!

In the end, my mother still passed away in September last year. If hospitals in the UK had been more efficient, her illness could have been diagnosed and controlled sooner, without wasting precious time! I am deeply disappointed with the UK’s healthcare system now!

The UK is one of the most expensive countries to live, especially in a city like London. Yet, the amenities and infrastructure are old and inadequate. The government lacks money, and each government taxes you like hell, but the money is squandered with little to show.

I don't understand why it is still in the G7. G7 should be disbanded because it is meaningless. It is not an economic organisation but a political organisation led by the US to suppress other nations.

As a Chinese, I have to say you are a little exaggerated. When your son asked you why the train wasn’t moving. You should tell him the train will normally stay longer at airport than other stations. Same situation in every cities in China. Don’t bury the seed of prejudice in your son’s heart.

"What has happened to my country, what has happened to the UK" is what you said. When I returned to Athens, 3 years ago, that is exactly what I said to my self "What has happened to my country, what has happened to Greece". Sounds familiar to you? Europe has fallen my friend.

Exactly how I felt coming back to Chicago from China last week. In China, most everyone was driving an EV and there were hardly any gas stations. In the US, everyone is haggling over gas prices. In China, the subways are clean, safe, and transport people in bullet trains. In Chicago, the subways are filthy, rickety, and you're lucky if you don't catch a bullet.

I think it's important to stick to stocks that are immune to economic policies. AI stocks that have the potential to power and transform future technologies. It seems AI is the trajectory most companies are taking, including even established FAANG companies. Maybe there are other recommendations?
