My cat a HUNDRED PERCENT recognizes my voice
When I leave my house he cries at top volume at my door, and when i come back he's usually sleeping somewhere. I'll call his name and he comes running, distinguishing my voice as specific and different than the rest of my family who he usually leaves alone when they come home
