I absolutely HATED CATS with a PASSION!! One winter I was driving through Cincinnati and pulled off the interstate for gas and to find a motel because it was snowing. I was pumping gas and noticed a tiny black kitten going from car to car looking for help. I was thinking “please don’t come to me please don’t come to me!” So he walked over to me and sat down with his tail wrapped around himself. I’m ashamed to say it but I tried my best to ignore him for a short time and then it got to a point where I couldn’t stand it anymore so I picked this tiny wet and cold kitten up and he immediately settled into my jacket to keep warm. So I went inside the gas station and bought some kitty food, litter and grabbed a used small cardboard box. I took this little kitten to the motel with me and fixed a comfy warm box for him to sleep in then fashioned another small box with kitty litter and then I prepared him some delicious food and fresh water. I then turned out the lights and went to bed. 2 minuets later I heard scratching in the litter box and then a soft paw tug at the sheets followed by cool little pads walking up my chest. He curled up between my neck and pillow and purred himself AND ME to is where he starts off sleeping ever since. He’s now 3 years old and I absolutely love the little guy. Cats truly are special little creatures!!

I once losta train ticket and realized it before my train was going to arrive. I back-tracked over a mile to the last place I had stopped, and lo and behold; a beautiful cat was sniffing at my ticket on the ground when I neared the area.
