Also don't be afraid to get a new provider if they won't listen to you.

One caveat for us older MTF (55+). The research indicates for older transitioning folks that transdermal patches are somewhat safer than the other options. I have been on the patches for 4 years and although slow they do work. I have been on maintenance dosage for almost 2 years now and my hormone levels are where they should be. If you are an older person, 55+, talk to your doctor about the options for us older folks.

Is there a pill for T? 👀
I like the gel (& can't do injections) but I forget so easily, a pill would be so much easier to take w my other meds.

I'd probably like some clarification of what that means, that one's HRT isn't working. I understand how allergic reactions might play in, but what metric is used otherwise for a mtf person? Is it blood serum levels? Is it observed changes, what sort of changes and to what level?
