Connecting your Wacom Intuos tablet via Bluetooth for Mac

Need help getting starting with your new Intuos or are you just researching drawing tablet options? It is easy to start creating with your new Wacom Intuos pen tablet.

Step 1
Unplug your tablet.

Step 2
Open the Bluetooth settings in the Mac System preferences and turn Bluetooth on.

Step 3
Press and hold the power (middle) button of your Intuos for 2 seconds and the LED will start blinking blue.

Step 4
On your Mac, select 'Connect' for the 'Wacom Intuos' and you´re good to go.

Am using Mac, High Serria and Pen Pressure doesn't work in Photoshop nor ClipStudio Paint. I am wondering, does the Small Bluetooth version designed for drawing or it's only the medium? I have the old Intuos 3 and when I reinstall this, pen pressure works fine.

Hi I just bought a bluetooth tablet and am having a similar issue as others where it connects via the usb and it connects via bluetooth. However the pen will only work when it’s connected by usb and not when it’s connected by bluetooth. Any ideas on how to fix that?

I'm now using the Macbook Air with the M1 chip and uploaded a new Ventura OS. Now my Wacom Intuos doesn't work. Supposingly there is an update but the pen's not working. Is there an update on the update?

This information is ancient. Update for Ventura macOS 13! Permission for the tablet to work is no longer in Privacy, but in Accessibility. Also update all your drivers.

Hello Wacom, my tablet works fine but after I disconnect the usb to usen the Bluetooth it won’t work, I have to restart the computer every single time and with Bluetooth the pen has some response delay. Anything?

Ok so I bought This tablet a few months ago and it worked great, it still does but recently I've got a 2007 Imac and when I try to connect it via Bluethooth it would simply not work. It shows up in the menu but when I try to connect the imac says that it cant connect. Under Windows and via Cable it works perfectly. Could you Please help me with that?

It used to work with no problems on bluetooth until 2 days ago when it refused to be detected in Wacom Center. Just update the driver from the Settings menu (up on the right corner). Problem solved!

I followed all the steps and it shows me that the wacom tablet is connected to my bluetooth but the pen doesn't work. It only works with the wire.. and I got this tablet because it's supposed to work wirelessly. I downloaded the latest drivers and my Mac is using High Sierra. Please help!

My bluetooth isn't working for some reason, I did exactly what was on the video, opened system preferences and then turned on the tablet but it didn't show up on the bluetooth menu, I think It might be an issue with not accepting a certain permission but I'm not sure.

I purchased the intuos small bluetooth today and while plugged in works ok but with bluetooth it lags too much!Im on mac os and i have nothing else connected.Is there any settings that can fix this?

connected it once, now it wont let go. I have to unplug it every minute or so, or else it connects to bluetooth and either 1: glitches and crashes my computer, or 2: lags like hell. PLEASE someone reply to this telling me how to permanently get rid of bluetooth?
