2) is the z in density law is the same as the z in center of mass law ?

Hi professor, I think it would be better and more correct if you mark the dV as a circular disk centered at r=0. Current dV is misleading .. or at the very least pointless/meaningless.

I understand this is the method of finding center of mass but how come the center of mass is not directly at the center of the cylinder?
