Thanks for the helpful video! I have a U2520D and just got a new U3223QE. Was actually very simple to daisy chain: DP out from U3223QE and DP in U2520D. USB C 90W out from U3223QE to laptop. Both monitors recognised the link instantly and its only a matter of managing display in Windows. Both monitors are plugged in using their respective power plugs.

Just had the "pleasure" to connect two U2723QE. Didn´t work for 2 hours or so. The second monitor didn´t want to wake up. Changing the Resolution from 4k to QHD made it.

I think i´ll have to write a letter to Dell.

Just hooked up two monitors thanks to your simple instructions! I spent time viewing 4 other videos - total waste of time! Your simple instructions were on point! Thank you so much!

I made it work connecting a U2518D as a second monitor using the DP cable between them and USBC to the laptop. Thanks for the tips.

The back of my U2723QE monitors don't have the same ports. My DP90W is a USB-C port not a Display Port cable port. I have only been able to get the monitors to mirror each other but not act independently. My ports are as follows: HDMI, Display Port(display port cable), DP 90W(usb c port), Display Port, Aux?, USB-C, USB, USB, USB, USB, Ethernet. Have been trying to figure this out for 2 days, no luck

Hi, I have excactly the same monitors but my connections are first (left) is Display Port, middle is usb C 90 wat, third one is display port. Can’t figure it out how to daisy chain. I have both monitors plugged in into my M1 Max separately but I hate the 2 cables

Thank you!!! Our brains are goofy. As soon as I found this video, the method of connecting cables entered my mind! So crazy!! Thanks for confirming for me

I am connecting 2 U2723QE to my xps 15 (9510). In my case the slave does not allow 4k + 60hz like the master does. It runs on 30hz only. I found the "9510 External Display Connection Guide" which seems to indicate that this is expected when daisy-chaining. Did you encounter this problem at all?

I have a question. Is it possible to make the master monitor connect to ANY OTHER monitor or only other monitors with a DP out port?

Also if you hold thebcheck button when selecting DP in setting. Hold it for 6-10 seconds and another enable and disable window will pop up.. enable it.

Can you daisy chain with other monitors that are not dell? Because I want to do a 2x dell U2724DE monitor setup + an ROG 32 inch OLED 4k 240hz monitor. Do I have to connect the Asus one straight into my laptop or can I use it for daisy chaining? AKA plug it into the master display and I can just run a single Thunderbolt 4 Cable into my laptop?

Can you daisy-chain two monitors like you walked through AND have a second laptop to leverage the picture-by-picture functionality?

Hi Jay. Thank you for your tutorial video regarding the Daisy Chain configuration. Got two new Dell U2724DE Monitors and tried to get it to work with Daisy Chain. My PC detects it and it is not a problem via Displayport as you mentioned. But I have one problem left: My new MAC Mini M4 doesnt detect the Daisy Chain. Well, maybe the problem is the single USB-C TB4 cable which is connected to my Monitor MASTER. I think I will have to connect a second USB-C Cable to the SLAVE Monitor to get it to work. Thanks anyway for the help and inspiration.

Hi thanks for you video. I am slightly confused. I have just purchased two Dell U2723QE, brilliant monitors by the way, I now have 1st monitor connected by DP port. I then removed the orange dust cover and plugged in another DP cable and connected the other end to my DP port on 2nd monitor. Everything working fine at this point. So why do I need to use a USB-Cable from my first monitor back to my PC?
