3:30 This shows the laptop screens in mirror mode, casting a dubious shadow over whether the automatic mouse-switchover works with extended desktops on one or both sides.

I have a dell display "Dell S2722DC" an keyboard+mousefrom dell (KM7321W). Is it possible that the monitor switches automatically, if i switch on e. g. the keyboard to (bluetooth)channel 2 (which is used from another pc)?

How can we make this work for two monitors with both computers? While also using at least one computers graphics cards? Would Daisy chaining work?

Unfortunately this KVM or screen management is limited to certain monitors. It doesn’t work on my Dell ultra wide 49 inch.

I really like some of the features in this video. It's tempting me to buy a Dell monitor. But what I want to know is whether any Dell monitors support more than two PCs. In this video @1:11 it shows that you can select 0, 1 or 2. (I'm not really sure what 0 or 1 would do for you.) Can you go up to 3 on any Dell displays? I see at least 25 Dell displays that support their KVM software, and it's going to take me at least an hour or two to read through all their specs. EDIT: It looks like the U3419W has three downstream USB ports, so maybe it can support three PCs. I'll read up and edit this post later. EDIT: I found one person online who says he was able to connect three PCs to this display. Moreover, the display seems to have four downstream USB ports, so maybe it supports four PCs. Cool. EDIT: The U4919DW has *five* downstream USB ports.

To keep this simple, they didn't tell you anything but the ideal scenario. And none of the details. But it's not a bad first pass.

So many possible questions, like what USB devices seamlessly pass through. All keyboards, ever? Exotic pointing devices? Thumb drives?

Is the configuration saved to the monitor, or does that PC on the side need to be there
* all the time
* only during hard monitor power-on
* only when the gremlin shiitake hits the fan
* only when changing configuration settings
???

How can I switch Hotkey the KVM from my Raspberry Pi on HDMI 2/USB 2 back to my PC on HDMI 1/USB 1?
Is the Hotkey switching not managed by the Monitor itself? Where is this documented? U3419W, firmware M3B114

Does the KVM functionality only work when the Dell Display Manager is installed? Which functionality is given, when only one notebook has it installed. Or non of the devices.

please share a link with listed devices supporting this feature

So they made this feature and then only included it in a handful of display. Not only that none of their ultra premium gaming monitors have that feature.
DELL, do you understand that people both work and game with their monitors? Yet none of your gaming displays have Type-C or KVM, while cheaper Gigabyte displays do.
