Two Monitors With One USB C Port - Minimal Setup

Laptop: Dell Latitude 7490 - USB type-c port for display signal and power supply.

Monitor:
Dell P2419HC - USB type-c input, Display Port Output + Power Cable
Dell P2419H - Display Port Input + Power Cable

Cable:
USB Type-C cable x 1, be sure it is a Type-C cable supports monitor output and power supply, not just power supply only.

Display Port Cable x 1, Male to Male
Power cable x 2 for monitors

Type c port on laptop will only work if its THUNDERBOLT TYPE C (for whats shown in video), normal Type C pots are just for charging mobile phones/files etc. and not transmitting video data.

Is it necessary, that the Computer Supports Thunderbolt Protocoll, or is it enough, if it has a Type-C 4.0 DP Output?

you get the same color on the 2 P2419? I have P2422HE AND P2422H and at the HE (With the hub) the image is more gray. dell say I have to use the USBC + USBS to DP, no make sense for me, and I saw you image for the both monitor are perfect.

Hello, dont' know if you ever try this with only USB-C monitor? Like my laptop connect to usbC monitor and the monitor connect to another USB C monitor.

Interesting. The manual states this shouldn’t work on the P version, only the U version. (P version works if computer has display port)

One doubt: What if one monitor takes two input HDMI (and mose+keyboard connected to it) and switches from one laptop HDMI to another laptop HDMI input.
