I took an intro to forensics sciences I'm high school, it was a college level course, and I loved it, I mainly loved the finger print, hand writings, and matter analysis parts of it. I was worried I would end up doing the other parts as well. This video has cleared up a bunch for me

This helped me tremendously to figure out exactly what it is I want to do, what it involves and the differences between all the different areas and the misconceptions that I admittedly believed. Awesome channel

At first I wanted to be a biochemist, but looked into some jobs that are related to biochem and saw forensic science was related. I love the thought of law and science and I’m wanting to learn more about it as a potential major!

The fact that she talked about ncis made me happy like that show is the reason I am so excited to start classes and the reason as a child I wanted to do what I am learning

Hi! I am currently in high school thinking of going into forensic science. This may change who knows but I was wondering which university and which type of degree and major is best to get into a forensic science job, and I think I would prefer working in the lab (I live in Sydney). I was also wondering what the pay is for a forensic scientist whether in the lab or CSI. Also great video really helpful thank you

I am looking to become a forensic scientist after two attempts at college and in between jobs. I looked back at some of the things I was interested in school. I remember taking a STEM class in middle school that covered forensics and I loved it and in college my favorite class was my CJ class. I’m 23 now and I’m hoping to take another shot and hopefully be successful this time around.

This is very helpful. I'm teaching forensic science this year. My background is in biology so I'm comfortable with the science but I'm trying to get familiar with the broader aspect.

Hey, so I'm still in high school but forensics is something I REALLY want to do in my future. My aunty is telling me afp is the way to go, and I agree, but I'm not sure I'll be smart enough. Do you think it's hard to get into? Or is it sort of like the others? I have loved science (specifically forensics) since I was about 10 and when I knew I wanted to do this I did lots of research. I'd like to think I'm good with science, but currently I am only get B's. Do I have to be very smart to get in? Will B's be okay? I'm stressing out a little haha! Please let me know how difficult you think afp is please. Awesome video btw! Gave me some useful info :)

It is very difficult to get positions in forensic science. Many go out and get degrees with high hopes of entering the field but may end up more on the criminal justice side of things. For example becoming a police officer, background investigator etc. Dont give up guys but do other jobs that will at least get you some experience while seeking that dream forensics job.

I have a question, I’m gonna go to college soon and I really like forensic chem, forensic biology and fingerprint analysis. This one college near me as a program for forensic chem. But if I wanna go into forensic biology or fingerprint analysis, what program should I take?

Does forensic science include alot of chemistry or is it just a specific field.
