No my inlaws have have hated me consistently hated me foe the past 14 years. Mostly I'm MORE successful than they are and I won't share my resources on them.

Crappy guys get short term girlfriends. quality guys get long term loving relationships. The funny thing is, a hot girl you like might be dating an arsehole when she is 17, but in 10 more years she will be looking for a man to start a family with. What I'm saying is, if you're a quality guy, you will win in the long term.

Think it has a little to do with experience... as in:
The father believes he knows how the boyfriend is thinking about his daughter... why? Odds are, he's been in that phase and doesn't want some boy to think of his baby girl as a hot piece of tail.
In my case... I guess it get's more complicated when a guy brings a guy home... sweet zombeh Jesus they didn't like that too much.

My morther hated my Partner for the longest time, and it's not the she wasn't able to provide for me; on the contrary my Partner gave/gives me anything I asked for -.- I think my mom just hated her for something to do >_>

my last girlfriend's parents loved me. like to the point where it was kinda creepy. i even got caught after sneaking over one night by her mom and she didnt even care. it was very strange
