It's basically an informal introduction to Mathematical Analysis.

Heres an idea. Get the book with the great explanations and a 2nd book with the worked examples. Trying to find a book with both is impossible.

I think it just might be the best multivariable real analysis text to date.

I had a 2-semester Advanced Calculus course using Buck, and over 20 years later I taught out of Buck. I personally prefer Watson Fulks' text ( not the 1st edition).
