Learn how to become a master of any skill through deliberate practice and by finding a mentor to give you a shortcut. In his book "Mastery", Robert Greene describe a few of those prodigies we see throughout history and analyzes how they became so great at what they did. 20,000 hours is what Robert says it takes to become world class. If you can, listen to the audiobook of this book since it has a lot of text and no images or graphic, the audiobook of Mastery will be much easier to digest. This animated book review of Robert Greene's book will also give you the main points in little time. Becoming a master of any skill, such as playing an instrument, learning how to ride a unicycle, or even how to create animated videos takes time and patience. Just remember that what you put your time in to most often, you will become better at it. Robert also wrote The 48 Laws of Power and The Art of Seduction. I made this video with a much softer voice and style, just to test the water and see how my audience reacts to it.

I have been doing self defence for 26 years now ( started when I was 8 making me 34 now ) and this is so true. I have begun to make a style of my own.

To me, the most important thing in this video was in the end of it. We can become master in anything. Even being a lazy idiot. We have to spend our time and resources smart, or we are going to master something that we dont want to, without even realising it. Thanks for the great video!

Best summary of the book I've seen on YouTube. Thanks so much for taking the time to make these videos and for the chance to be better versions of ourselves!

Mastery -- Second Nature--- Find your Purpose---Find your Joy---Find your Intuition. A beautiful balance between Mastery and Intuition without contradictions--- the ability to use both Learning [Mastery] and Intuition [Joy] in one person. That is life.

Being a master must be so fullfilling. Having trained many skills and now being a master of these skills must be truly what life is about. Why go through life as an average man? Why not be a master? Imagine the confidence you will walk around with

What helps me raise my productivity + automatically helps my mastery in different subjects is to watch videos on 1.25 or 1.5 speed. ^^ Thanks for the awesome vid. Love to Learn!!

This is a great rule of thumb and it's a great book to get inspired. That said take it with a grain of salt. Not everything has to be master to be achieve. Learn to know when you have won and strategy beats raw labor every time. Finally leaning from somebody is a great way to acquire knowledge but you also learn their bad habits. What I do is learn from all what I need to know to achieve things on my own. I have to mentor but I learn from everyone who I came in contact with or I stop taking to them.

My summer is on the verge of beginning and I've got many skills in mind that I would love to nourish; some of them being ambidextrous, crafting, and knife throwing. I also plan to combine the skills by atempting to craft a target for practice using my non-dominant hand.

Awesome as usual. You manage to bring both quantity AND quality. A tip for thumbnails: make sure the images you're using are free for commercial use, or that you've paid for it - People have been getting sued for using stock photos! Also I'm not sure how effective 4 annotations is compared to 1 or 2. The consensus of most YouTubers is that offering more than 2 CTA's at the end of a video overwhelms the viewer.
Keep it up!
