How do you advise is the best way to clean your beauty blender. I’ve started avoided using them as I can’t guarantee they’re sterile. I’ve bought makeup brush cleaner from superdrug before.

Please may you recommend a good high coverage concealer for acne? I have used Vichy derma blend foundation as a concealer which is the best I’ve found as it’s non-comedogenic so doesn’t make my acne worse, very pigmented so you only need a little and I find it more hygienic than pots or wand concealers (as it’s in a tube). I can’t seem to get my shade anywhere and I think they’re discontinuing it. The thought of going out and socialising without it is making me feel very very anxious.

I've been using Tretinoin and AHA for my acne. Both of them are great, especially tretinoin, which has a long standing track record of being the mainstay treatment for acne. But, I would say that AHA especially Glycolic acid works wonders for my acneic skin. I think that is because it's the most powerful of all AHAs. It really helps clear up any hyperpigmentation caused by the acne. But I agree that AHAs mostly are not particularly effective for acne. It depends on how much the percentage of the AHA, and how small the molecule of the acid. And AHAs can not be single handedly utilized for acne. It must be combined with other actives such as retinoids to get the maximum benefits of controlling acne and clearing up the hyperpigmentation. And sunscreen is the most important thing to prevent future hyperpigmentation.
