Finally a quick reply if it's not a infra red remote it won't work on the TV it will work on the Roku device but not the TV. I love this guy😊

Thank you for showing me where the infra red light was!! You’re the only one I seen to point that out because I thought it was in the middle of the tv. I had a speaker 🔊 on my tv stand on both ends of the tv blocking that infra red corner. So that’s why it wasn’t working for me. Soon as I moved the speaker it worked!! Thanks 💯🎉

I bought one on ebay w the voice control without the infrared blaster and without a pairing button and it will work on both on both roku tv and the little cable box. I took batteries out of remote then put them in and pressed the left arrow and home button at the same time and i did it a couple of times and it paired. The roku tvs are wifi thats why u have to setup connecting to the wifi and password

Yep! That answered my question. I was using my new remote on the plug in Roku, but needed to use it on my RokuTV. Now I have a back up for my RokuTV. I still gotta go get one for my plug in Roku. 😂

I just got one of this 4k roku tv at a bargan It was just missing the remote I watched a few videos until this one straight to the point well explained I went got the same remote work out perfect

All he says in video is that you don't need to pair the remote. To check if your batteries are good, point your phone camera at the top.of the remote and press any button on remote and the infrared should show. If not reseat batteries or get fresh batteries. My batteries were fresh but not seated. I took batteries from a remote that worked and it still didn't work. I did the phone trick - no red light, reseated batteries firmly and camera showed red light, then it worked. If that's not it, reset button on Roku and set the whole thing up again, huge pain, have to login again. But pairing is not necessary.
