How to Connect your ROKU Remote to TV (Pair & Sync)

Do you want to know connect your ROKU remote to TV to pair or sync! To do this, go to your remote and take off the back plate and there could be a sync button here. Otherwise, on the newer remote press the back button and home button down at the same time to sync the remote!

So I believe this method works more with Smart TV’s. I have an older LG TV I had to pair the remote with. None of his 2 options worked, so I had to go to…
Settings > Remotes & devices > Remotes > Set up remote for TV control > IR setup

I have tried everything, and nothing works. I bought this Roku remote from Temu. The red light flickers inside the remote, but I never get the green light. When I press the CH- and CH+ buttons, the Roku TV does make a click sound, but does nothing. There are no buttons inside the battery casing. Thanks for trying to help.

removed back of Roku remote, there was a button on the right. Pushed it, little green blinking light came on. Roku base did not emit a blue light, held the remote next to it, nothing. However, I shut the TV off with the remote, turned it back on, then "pairing" appeared across the screen. The old remote I was pairing would turn the TV on and off, but could not maneuver to a channel. TV has a manual on button on the bottom, seriously, only an on button. I will buy American made next time.
